How to get a flat stomach and toned thighs and butt?
OK, i’m 15 years old and weigh 179 lbs and i want a flat stomach. Right now my stomach probably not too fat but its not skinny either, my lower abdomen is really fat but my upper is small. But i don’t have love handles. I don’t feel like my body’s not in proportion because my thighs are fat and big thighs (i feel uncomfortable sometimes because it can’t fit under some of my school desks), my hips are nice, my butt is really big and ppl slap and comment it a lot saying its big. And i want to tone it because i don’t want guys to want me for the wrong reason.but i don’t to LOSE it just want it TONED. i feel if i tone my butt and thighs and if i have a flat stomach i would have the perfect body. Trust me i don’t have self esteem problems i love my body i’m just not comfortable in it. All of my friends are skinny and have flat stomachs but i don’t want to fit in with them. i believe if i just have a flat stomach, toned thighs and butt i would stand out more and i would have more confidence, so when guys come up to me they just don’t want me for my butt. so can you please help me and what are some exercises and how should i change my diet.

Hey Cassie,
what you need is to perform exercises that are targeted at toning your body.
Jogging/running is a great way to tone your stomach. When you run you give you stomach a workout by firming the muscles and using it to aid your movements, you know?
Also, i’d suggest you take up skiping and/or swimming as these two cardio exercises will help tone your leg muscles, burning the fat as a source of energy
Finally, you should stay away from junk food – crisps, fizzy drinks, takeaways, stuff like that. If you are committed to shaping your body a certain way, such foods (they are actually not really foods) will go against your efforts. Such meals create saturated fats in your body, and as you are young and your body is still developing they (saturated fats) can have your body in disporportion, i.e. your lower stomach will be sloppy whilst your upper body isn’t, you know?
Hope this helps

Squats! They are the king of exercises – they work legs, butt, and abs/back and tighten all the areas you want tightened…

technique is the most important thing – and as the person above me said, don’t overdo it as you’re only 15. best of luck
Running tones your thighs butts and tummy, don’t take on working out ! You’re too young it could prevent your skull from growing, plus it doesn’t work well until you do it for at least a whole year. Running, playing tennis or badminton, rollers as well, all that tones your whole body if done regularly !
Diet-wise I’d say eat alot of fruit and veg a day, at least five. Cut COMPLETELY down on chocolate and sweets, but of course you can still treat yourself.. but I do recommend swapping chocolate for healthy cereal bars or fruit such as raspberries, or strawberries.. which taste just as nice.
Also count your calories, I know it sounds fussy.. but eat healthily; home made food is alot healthier than ready made. Jacket potatoes are filling, and make a healthy meal. Also take a packed lunch into school, with healthy sandwiches and fruit and alot of water.. water helps alot, drink it before meals and you’ll feel fuller and wouldn’t need nor want to eat as much. Excerise wise, I’d say sit-ups for the stomach (Try and challenge yourself a certain amount each day, eg: 30) And jog for around 30 minutes a day to tone your thighs. Butt-wise, I’m not too sure.. but if you eat healthier, I’m sure you’ll see a difference. Good luck!
